First Launch and presentation


So yeah, I'm embarking on the journey to become a solo indie developer, I've been studying gamedev for a few months now and never published anything because I'm not sure if I get how to do Art for the games and my projects are always big and ambitious (a RPG, a survival game, a heavy and rich story, and so on), so this week I thought I should make something different and ended up doing this little game in 5 days. Sure is a breakout clone but I'm happy that I've done so much in only 5 days.


So with this one I tried to learn how to build levels easily and try out pixel art, I ended up making a system that reads pixels from images and generates the map with blocks prefabs. The images for the maps are literally the map, since is with it that I generate the boxes, pretty cool!

I'm thinking in trying to make a level editor for the players, is kinda half done with the system mentioned above, but I don't know if I should invest more time in this one.

Also the art is meh, I'm still trying to get it right, so I'm working on that.
